MC8I Interactive Media II-PSSA Open-Ended Math Assessment
Rationale
There is a link to a DreamWeaver project above. The purpose of the project is to assist middle school math educators in understanding how open-ended assessments are evaluated on the PSSA's. It includes a video introduction and pdf's used as visual aids. I used coursebuilder to make quizzes for the teachers to check their understanding.
Reflection
Using the video introduction and pdf's helps to enrich the website. These scaffolding elements bring more clarity to the topic. The use of coursebuilder to develop an assessment proves to be important in providing teachers feedback on their learning. Integrating these software applications creates a training environment in which the learner can learn at his/her own pace with appropriate feedback.
